Nutritional therapy uses food, supplementary nutrients and cleansing procedures to alleviate or prevent chronic health problems. In the hands of a fully qualified therapist, Nutritional medicine is a safe, gentle approach. The therapy is based on scientific research and knowledge and yet takes a holistic view. It supports active biological processes rather than using suppressive methods, and is designed to work from the level of cells and tissues. Nutrition is about keeping your body alive and well by means of food. Like any complex machine it will not work properly unless it receives the right fuel and is properly maintained. Nutritional therapy aims to find the cause of an illness or imbalance, rather than just looking at the symptoms, and to treat the problem using therapeutic diets and supplements. Modern foods and lifestyles make it hard to have a balanced nutritional intake, yet even minor changes in diet in combination with correct supplements can make major changes to the way a person copes with life. Nutritional therapy will provide an individually tailored diet and supplement plan aimed at restoring your health. This will be designed to correct any nutritional imbalances, to support and strengthen the immune system and all systems and organs of the body which are under stress. Changing your diet alone can have significant healing effects but in many cases supplements are necessary to kick-start the metabolism, correct long-term mineral imbalances, purge the body of toxins and promote the growth of favourable intestinal bacteria. Nutritional medicine has been shown to be effective for many conditions.

Reflexology is a therapeutic method of improving health by stimulating predefined pressure points on the feet and hands. This controlled pressure alleviates the source of the discomfort. In the absence of any particular illness or abnormality, reflexology may be as effective for promoting good health and for preventing illness as it may be for relieving symptoms of stress, injury, and illness.
Reflexologists work from maps of predefined pressure points that are located on the hands and feet. These pressure points are reputed to connect directly through the nervous system and affect the bodily organs and glands. The reflexologist manipulates the pressure points according to specific techniques of reflexology therapy. By means of this touching therapy, any part of the body that is the source of pain, illness, or potential debility can be strengthened through the application of pressure at the respective foot or hand location.
I offer various forms of Reflexology practice, including: Classic Foot and Hand Reflexology, Vertical Reflex Therapy (VRT), Nerve Reflexology and Maternity Reflexology.
The foods that we consume play more of a role in our health than perhaps anything else. The saying, “you are what you eat”, is very true and good nutrition leads to a healthy body and a sound mind.
